SoWe Makes Way for The Strip Joint

Yesterday marked the last night for SoWe at 918 S 22nd Street. The Graduate Hospital (South West Center City) gastropub has closed to be rebranded.

The new concept, which is aiming to open on Saturday, January 25th, will be the The Strip Joint – “for the love of steak.”

We’ve enjoyed almost two great years as one your favorite neighborhood gastropubs here in Southwest Center City. Effective this Monday, January 20th, we’ll be closing our doors for a few days to work on bringing you and Philadelphia an exciting new dining concept!

We appreciate and value your continued support, and can’t wait to share this new experience with you. Stay tuned for more information about our grand opening next Saturday, January 25th! We’ll be coming back with even better dinner, drinks & brunch items!

In the meantime, we hope to see you this weekend for dinner, drinks & brunch before we give you something brand new to sink your teeth into!

More information has been revealed on the concept. The idea is to bring a value to the steakhouse experience with a full steak dinner coming in under $20. In addition to the cocktails, there will be a neighborhood bar vibe with craft cocktails, craft beer and a bar menu.
