Closings on Chestnut Street – Moe’s and JoJo Place Are Gone

Few will mourn the closing of Moe’s Southwest Grill at 1725 Chestnut Street. The chain closed last week and it seems no one noticed. 1725 Chestnut Street has now quickly devoured Goodburger, Famous Dave’s BBQ and Moe’s in short succession. It will be interesting to see if someone else jumps in to the space.

At 2004 Chestnut Street, Asian eatery, JoJo Place went dark in late March. Today we spotted a worker on a ladder, seemingly adjusting a lighting fixture in the freshly painted red room. He claimed to have no idea what was going into the space, but it certainly looks swankier than its previous incarnation.
