To Do: Shop Near, Run Far 5K in Manayunk on Black Friday

If you plan on braving the masses on Black Friday, why not make a workout out of it, too? Manayunk’s Bryn Mawr Running Company store is hosting a Shop Near, Run Far 5K to encourage Black Friday crowds (and runners) to spend the day in the neighborhood’s businesses. Base-level entry is $25. Or, you can pay $50 and get entry to the race, a $40 gift card to Bryn Mawr Running Company, and a free beer at local watering hole Winnie’s LeBus. A $100 entry gets you into the race, plus a $100 gift card to BMRC and free beers at Winnie’s and Manayunk Tavern. The run itself will be held on the Manayunk Towpath.
