Harbaugh Downplays Ed Reed Injury

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is downplaying the severity of safety Ed Reed‘s hamstring strain.

“Everybody’s fine,” he said via the Baltimore Sun. “Nothing serious with anybody.”

Reed injured the right hamstring during — what else — an interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter against Cincinnati. In the process, Reed became the all-time NFL leader in career interception-return yards (1,497), topping Rod Woodson.

“You know I’m 34 in two hours,” said Reed on  Sunday. “Father Time does catch up with you. It’s good, it’s good. It’s minor.”

The Ravens otherwise appeared to exit the game without much damage. Cornerback Corey Graham has a leg ailment, but it’s considered minor.

The Eagles host the Ravens at 1 o’clock Sunday.
