Free VIP Tickets To The 2012 Philadelphia Wine Festival
No, really! Philadelphia magazine is giving away two free VIP passes to the 2012 Philadelphia Wine Festival at Lincoln Financial Field. They’re doing it sweepstakes-style, so in order to get your name thrown in the hat, you have to go to Philly mag’s Wine Festival page and do a little paperwork. But after that, it’s all up to the gods of chance and free boozin’–and who knows whether this might be the time they decide to favor you.
For those of you who don’t win, tickets for the event (which is happening on Saturday, May 5) are on sale now, and the details are thus:
2012 Philadelphia Wine Festival
What: A ginormous party full of hundreds of wines and wineries from all across the globe, all coming together in Philadelphia to give you wine nerds the single best night of your year. There will be more tastings than any normal person could possibly manage AND a temporary PA Wine and Spirits store set up on-site for you to buy all the wines you’ve tried. There will also be a silent auction benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, so if you’re feeling guilty about spending all that coin on grape juice, all you have to do is make a ridiculously high bid on some rare item up for auction and know that your pesos will be going to a good cause.
Where: Lincoln Financial Field
When: Saturday, May 5th, 6:30-9pm. A VIP ticket will get you in at 5pm so you can start drinking early.
How Much: $125 per person, general admission, $225 per person, VIP
