On July 4th: Firecracker 5K Run

Support a good cause at the Firecracker 5K

Make the world a better place and burn off barbecue treats on July 4th at the Firecracker 5K Run, hosted by the Rotary Club of Broomall. All proceeds from the race will support the Broomall Rotary’s local community service projects, such as scholarships for high school students, an annual Junior Olympics, and Christmas donations of food and gifts for disadvantaged families.

For a little extra incentive, more than $2,000 in prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each age group, ranging from technical socks all the way up to a Timex GPS! After you finish the loop up and down West Chester Pike, make sure to make a day of it with the Marple-Newtown 4th of July Parade immediately following the race. – Kathryn Siegel
