Freshii has been open since January 3rd but tomorrow marks the fast-serve healthy spot’s grand opening. They’re giving away free stuff throughout the day.

Wednesday night the Japanese American Society of Philadelphia is hosting a sushi and American craft beer dinner at Headhouse. it’s just $30 per person, email info@jasgp.org for reservations.

Thursday Brooklyn Brewing’s Garrett Oliver is coming to Chifa for a beer dinner. It’s completely sold out so we guess we’ll be on Passyunk Avenue celebrating the Cantina’s 4th birthday.

Friday is National New England Clam Chowder Day and Oyster House is offering $5 bowls to-go for lunch.

Also all week is Restaurant Week. We’ll be doing daily picks as well as highlighting counter programming in a feature we call, Restaurant Week: Point, Counter-Point.
