ON THE GREEN SCENE: Clover Market is Coming!

Lauren McCutcheon can’t wait to explore this design market come spring.

If one more person emails me about the surely-to-be-fabulous Clover Market set to debut at Ardmore’s Schauffele Plaza (you know, across from Brownie’s) April 11th and run two Sundays a month into June, well, I just might start believing that, despite all appearances, spring is really just around the corner. Seriously, though, the Main Line’s very own version of Brooklyn Flea is, thanks to design-smart planner Janet Long, shaping up to be the must-shop, stylishly green (pretty much everything will be locally-made, vintage or antique, with many, many pieces marvelously restored or repurposed) event of next season, what with vendors like Newtown’s inimitable Trove Decor, Haverford’s Bees’ Nest and Chairloom, the coolest of the Antique Store In Wayne, plus estate jewelry, original artwork, architectural salvage, home collectibles, and who knows what else by the time it all goes down. You heard it here first. Possibly.
