Like many big comedians of the past 30 years, the wildly inventive Kevin Brennan started his career as a writer for Saturday Night Live. After leaving SNL, he was voted “Best Comedian” at the 2005 Aspen Comedy Festival, which landed him his own recent HBO special, One Night Stand. Since then he's appeared on Comedy Central and SNL's “Weekend Update,” and has proved to be a late-night talk-show stud with appearances on Conan, Leno and Letterman. This week he's bookending Thanksgiving during a three-night stand at Helium Comedy Club. Sharing the stage will be local favorites Mike Stankiewicz and John Kensil.
