Now that the Eagles’ 53-man roster is set (for the time being), they can begin crafting their 10-person practice squad today. We’ll update all of their signings in this thread, in addition to any waiver claims they made.

6:44 — We have our answer: To make room for Smith and Turner, the Eagles cut Gause.

6:07 — Well, this is interesting. Paul Turner has reportedly signed to the Eagles’ practice squad, but that would put them at 11, even though the limit is 10. The Eagles have confirmed nine of the signings, so either one person who was confirmed just hours ago is now off the team, or Smith or Turner doesn’t have a spot, as they seem to think. We’ll add another update when we know more.

5:25 — Unless the Eagles cut someone from the practice squad that hasn’t been reported, C.J. Smith will occupy the final practice squad spot.

10:20 — If Paul Turner clears waivers later this afternoon, he’ll be the final player on the practice squad.

10:05 — The Eagles confirmed the signing of Cherry to the practice squad, as well as the additions of Quentin GauseAndrew Bonnet, and Aaron Neary. There’s one spot left on the practice squad.

9:30 — A minor surprise as local linebacker Don Cherry is the sixth (reported) Eagle to make the practice squad.

Sunday (9/4)

5:06 — The Eagles have signed Darrell Greene, Aziz Shittu and David Watford to the practice squad. They also confirmed Marshall and Johnson will be on it.

4:54 — The Eagles released Taylor Hart, and confirmed the cuts of Smith and Turner. They also confirmed the additions of Brooks, Grugier-Hill and Treggs.

3:39 — C.J. Smith is no longer on the roster, either, meaning one more Eagle needs to be cut today.

3:12 — Blake Countess, who appeared to be a potential candidate for the Eagles’ practice squad, will be joining the Rams’ practice squad instead.

2:35 — Looks like Paul Turner will be one of the three players cut. He could make the practice squad if he doesn’t get claimed.

2:22 — Byron Marshall has also made the practice squad.

1:41 — Marcus Johnson made the practice squad.

1:25 — Undrafted free agents Cayleb Jones and M.J. McFarland will be sidelined for the year.

12:55 — The Eagles claimed defensive back Terrence Brooks, linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill and wide receiver Bryce Treggs, but their corresponding roster moves are not yet known. Brooks was a 2014 third-round pick who reportedly “struggled in the jump to the NFL.” Grugier-Hill was the Patriots’ 2016 sixth-round pick, while Treggs is a speedy undrafted free agent who reportedly lined up at slot receiver in the 49ers’ camp.
