The Eagles officially added John DeFilippo as the team’s quarterbacks coach Thursday morning. The Pennsylvania native was the Browns’ offensive coordinator last season, and the Raiders’ quarterbacks coach the three previous years.

As the Jets’ quarterbacks coach, DeFilippo worked with Mark Sanchez when the rookie quarterback advanced to the AFC Championship game. The Eagles announced 15 assistant coaches they agreed to terms with on Wednesday night.

The team also signed running back Ross Scheuerman and tight end Chris Pantale to reserve/future contracts. Scheuerman spent time on the Packers’ practice squad this season, and was in the Steelers training camp in August, when he suffered an Achilles injury. Before spending time on the Eagles’ practice squad this season, Pantale was briefly on the Jets’ active roster in both the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

John Barchard tweeted that the Eagles will likely sign Rory Segrest to be their new defensive line coach. Segrest is currently the Arkansas defensive line and specialists coach, and was previously the Eagles’ defensive line coach in 2009 and 2010.
