There have been some reports today about the Eagles coaching search, and there will likely be many more, so we’ll update this thread as news rolls in.

7:01 — Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo, whom the Eagles were rumored to have interest in, will get serious consideration for the Giants’ vacant coaching job.

6:58 — The Eagles continued their pattern of acknowledging interviews on Twitter today, after meeting with Adam Gase for a number of hours.

6:50 — According to Les Bowen, Adam Gase left his interview with the Eagles today and will still interview with other teams.

1:19 p.m. — Doug Marrone isn’t on the Eagles list of candidates, says Reuben Frank.

1:10 p.m. — According to Jason Cole, the Eagles are interested in trading for Sean Payton. Here’s an excerpt of what he said (h/t BGN).

And one thing has become clear, the Saints have set a low price if teams want to trade for Payton right now, and will allow him to leave if they can get a market for Payton in a trade. The reason for setting the low price is because Loomis wants to create a big market for Payton and believes he can get a big payoff. In other words, saying it will only take a second round pick, which was reported by Jay Glazer of FOX, is a way of getting multiple teams interested in trading for now him and then getting a bidding war for him among those teams.
