The Eagles added a third quarterback by claiming Stephen Morris and announced their 10-man practice squad today.

Morris, who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2014, spent his entire rookie season on the team’s practice squad. At the University of Miami, Morris threw for 7,896 passing yards and became the second quarterback in school history to have multiple 3,000-yard passing seasons.

Nine of the 10 members of the Eagles’ practice squad were with the team at some point during training camp. The tenth, Chris Pantale, spent training camp with the Chicago Bears. In 2014, the 25-year-old tight end appeared in five games for the New York Jets.

The rest of the practice squad is:

  • OL Brett Boyko
  • OL Malcolm Bunche
  • CB Randall Evans
  • WR Freddie Martino
  • DE Brian Mihalik
  • RB Raheem Mostert
  • WR Quron Pratt
  • S Ed Reynolds
  • LB Deontae Skinner
