The Eagles released 12 players on Saturday:

WR G.J. Kinne
CB Mark Anthony
S Brandon Bishop
OL Mike Coccia
OL Kevin Graf
DE Alfy Hill
WR Mike Johnson
LB Dasman McCullum
WR John Reese
DE Jeremy Towns
TE Justin Tukes
OL Jared Wheeler

The roster now stands at 78 players. It must be trimmed to 75 by Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Kinne spent each of the past two seasons on the Eagles’ practice squad. He converted to wide receiver this offseason in an attempt to find a role on the team.

“I’m just a guy who’s thankful to be here and will do whatever they want me to do,” he said.

The 26-year-old was unable to make a big splash this preseason, though, finishing with two catches for four yards on four targets. Kinne is still practice-squad eligible. (For a full list of practice squad candidates, click here.)

Graf is one of the other notable names on this list. The former USC Trojan spent Weeks 2-4 on the team’s active roster last season before being moved to the practice squad.
