Round 2 begins Friday at 7 p.m.

We’ll provide as many updates as we can here, and you all can obviously converse in the comments section below.

If you need a primer, here is a list of potential Eagles targets. The Birds currently have picks 52 and 84.

10:33: The Eagles take Texas ILB Jordan Hicks (6-1, 236) with the No. 84 pick (third round). He was an All-Big 12 selection last year. He missed most of 2013 with a torn Achilles’, had a hip flexor injury in 2012 and a fractured foot in 2011. He has “football character in spades” according to NFL.com. Hicks was sent home before the Alamo Bowl in 2012 for for violating team rules.

Hicks (spider chart) is a very good athlete.

Given the addition of Kiko Alonso and the DeMeco Ryans extension, you have to really wonder whether Mychal Kendricks will be back.

10:11: Do the Eagles like any of these QBs? Brett HundleyBryce Petty and Garrett Grayson are all still on the board.

9:45: The list of potential Eagles targets at No. 84 is updated.

9:13: After the trade, here are the Eagles’ remaining picks:

Round 3 (No. 84)
Round 4 (No. 113)
Round 6 (No. 191)
Round 6 (No. 196)
Round 7 (No. 237)

8:21: We wrote about Eric Rowe a few weeks ago. The piece includes background and thoughts on how he fits.

Trade details: The Eagles gave up their second-round pick (No. 52) and two fifth-round picks (Nos. 145 and 156) for No. 47 (Rowe) and a sixth-round pick (191).

8:17: According to Geoff Mosher of CSN Philly, the Eagles moved up to No. 47 to take Utah DB Eric Rowe.

8:16: The Eagles have traded up to No. 47 from 52, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

8:07: Only eight more picks until the Eagles are up. They might be able to stay put and get Eric RoweJake Fisher or T.J. Clemmings.

7:56: Some specifics from Ian Rapoport.

7:52: Eagles making a move?

7:31: The Jets grab WR Devin Smith. I’m a huge fan. Tracks the ball as well as any receiver in this draft. Big-time deep threat.

7:16: Penn State offensive lineman Donovan Smith could have been an Eagles target, but the Bucs grabbed him.

7:13: The Giants trade up and snag Alabama safety Landon Collins with the first pick in the second round. I never saw him as a realistic option for the Eagles.
