Eagles Reveal Preseason Opponents

The Eagles unveiled their preseason schedule on Wednesday:

Week 1: at Chicago
Week 2: at New England
Week 3: vs. Pittsburgh
Week 4: vs. New York Jets

The exact dates and times will be announced at a later date.

Last preseason, the Patriots and Eagles held joint practices in Philly leading up to their exhibition game at the Linc. There’s a good chance they’ll do the same thing up in New England this year. Michael Vick returns in Week 4. Depending on how the quarterback competition goes in New York, it could be Vick versus Mark Sanchez in that one.

The full regular-season schedule is expected to be released later this month.

While we’re at it, here’s a rundown of the Eagles’ spring schedule:

Offseason program begins: April 21

Rookie camp: May 16-18

OTAs: May 27-29, June 2-3, June 5, June 9-12

Mandatory mini-camp: June 17-19

Spygate 2.0 comences in NE this year. JK…. They whipped us last year….I dont think it will be as easy this time. Also I want some of these younger WRs to go against Revis to get their reps up and get tutorials on beating man and becoming better WR. Revis island Schooling WR’s since entering the league. Maclin and Cooper can also hone their games.

More importantly, Foles will be studying Tom

      • Malcolm Jones

That would be a thing of beauty and very dangerous for the rest of the league. Foles probably watching tape on Manning, Brees, Tom and some HOF’ers right now at this moment.

he did, no drills can’t find video.

        • apparently he look great.
          landry? not so much

      • Maggie

Shouldn’t the defense be studying Tom also?

      • James Skip Carl

I think last year helped him immensely

  • Johnny Domino

Jets game might be the most dramatic PS game 4 in history.

    • G_WallyHunter

      I don’t know I think week 2 might be because it’s a superbowl preview…

      • HowieGambleChipsAllDay

New England ain’t making the Bowl. Cincinnati vs. Denver AFC Championship.

        • peteike

Nati lost their O and D coord and still have Dalton so thats a big fat no. AR perhaps? losing in devastating fashion had to hurt, I was out with my KC fan buddy that night watching Eagles/NO game, amazing he could even function

          • HowieGambleChipsAllDay

I’m not an Andy Dalton hater. The kids going into his 4th year. One of 3 QBs to throw for 3,000yds his first three seasons with Peyton and Cam. One of three to throw 20TDs his first 3 with Peyton ajd Marino. All this while going 9-7,10-6-and 11-5…..so I never really got why people down Andy Dalton. Must be the fact he’s a ginger. Nobody let’s guys grow up anymore. If you’re not a superstar year one your waste of life.

    • get your popcorn ready!

Torn whether I’d rather see Vick or Geno v. Sanchez or Barkley
        Lots of moving parts there.

  • Rick H

Ha Chicago is different. I haven’t seen the Eagles play them in pre season ever???

  • Maggie

Chicago and Pittsburgh are both working to improve their defense. Hope Eagles offense isn’t used as crash test dummies. NE trying to prove Brady is not getting a little old and the Jets, well, everybody say “hi” to Mike.

  • MediaMike

Nice. We get to see BOTH Pittsburgh and New York fake tough guys get knocked out in the parking lot in back to back weeks!

LSU WR Jarvis Landry ran a pair of 4.58 forties at the Tigers’ Pro Day on Wednesday.

Landry also dropped “three to four passes” in what is being described as a “rough” day. This all comes on the heels of a disastrous Combine that saw Landry run a painfully-slow 4.77 forty before dropping out of the drill altogether with a calf problem. He was also significantly shorter than LSU listed him in college. Landry is staring at a slide possibly into the 4-7 round range.

    Vick v Sanchez LOL

    • EaglefaninAZ

YES!. What the heck, right? It would generate barge loads of bandwidth and dead paper stuff.

  • Will

LSU picture slide show couldn’t find any video WR’s ran 4.58 40’s can the be right?
