The Eagles’ Playoff Path

With Week 17 in the books, the playoff picture is set.

The Eagles will host the New Orleans Saints at the Linc next weekend – it’s an 8 p.m. Saturday night kick. If the Birds are victorious, they’ll travel to Carolina to face the Panthers in the divisional round.

The Eagles cannot face the Packers, 49ers or Seahawks until the NFC title game. If they get that far, the Eagles would either travel to Seattle, host the 49ers or host the Packers.

Here is what the seedings look like.

1. Seahawks
2. Panthers

3. Eagles
4. Packers
5. 49ers
6. Saints

The Packers host the 49ers in the other NFC playoff game next Sunday.

Let’s take care of business tonight, then talk playoffs tomorrow.

In general, there is no shame losing to a true professional like Drew Brees. There would be shame losing to a street corner QB like Kaepernick or Newton.

lol. racist much? fuck is a ‘streetcorner QB?’.

      • Media Mike

You can include Johnny Football on that list as well. Those read one and run guys all play the game the wrong way.

        • TheCatalyst

There is no “wrong way”. A “streetcorner QB” was in the Superbowl last year, you don’t get there by playing “the wrong way”.

Was Vick a street corner QB? McNabb? Cull pepper? Moon?

      • Media Mike

Vick, yes. Cullpepper, sometimes. McNabb and Moon processed two of the keenest passing intellects and played the game in an exemplary manner and were not read one and run dolts. McNabb excelled at avoiding turnovers due to his smarts.

8PM Saturday! Respect, yo! We’ve been given the primo time slot, now we need to finish out this game.

Interesting that the 2 QB’s from the same school go head to head. Foles broke Brees old records, would be nice to see him beat him on a professional level as well.
