Vick Listed As Questionable For Dallas

o

Even though he ruled himself out on Sunday, Michael Vick is officially listed as questionable on the Eagles’ injury report.

Vick stood side-by-side Nick Foles after Thursday’s practice and declared: “I’m not playing this week.”

After the press conference, when asked what’s realistic in terms of his return, Vick said: “Next week, maybe the week after.”

That projection is consistent with what a source close to Vick told us– that this is a three-to-four week injury. Vick, who sustained a hamstring injury against the Giants, was listed as a full participant in Friday’s practice just as he was last week.

Patrick Chung is doubtful for the Dallas game. Billy Davis revealed that the safety’s shoulder injury is nerve-related. Earl Wolff is expected to get the start opposite Nate Allen.

Chris Polk (shoulder) is doubtful. Kelly said that they had no plans of making a roster move to add a third running back (such as calling up Matthew Tucker) if Polk can’t go.

“We’ve got some guys that we’ve practiced that can play there if for some reason we went into the game with two,” said Kelly. “We have contingency plans on who can be three and who can be four.”

Jason Peters (shoulder/finger) is probable. Same for James Casey (groin) and Donnie Jones (foot).

Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware (strained quad) hasn’t practiced all week and could miss the first game of his NFL career. Owner Jerry Jones suggested the team will probable take a “conservative” approach with Ware this week. Running back DeMarco Murray (knee) could also be sidelined.
