No worries. You’ll still be a legend in your own mind.

  • ICDogg

    Fancy new page design

    • B-West

It makes me feel old that I miss the simplicity of the old design….

  • B-West

Any word on the inactives? I don’t see it, just checking I didn’t overlook it with the new set up..

    • Token

Nothing surprising. Curry active. Carmichael active, Prater inactive.

  • gruvi

3rd and Eagles D showing up as usual :( This is going to be a painful game to watch.

  • Will

    Eagle’s safety burned for a TD, what a surprise…

  • RIP illa

Not understanding why Davis would call a blitz from Boykin in that situation…but what makes it worse was that the blitz wasn’t called to Manning’s backside!!!

  • UKEagle99

Well we can’t win in regulation now, best we can hope for is a tie and win the coin toss in overtime.

    • gruvi

      Nice dream

      • UKEagle99

Believe me, my dreams are much much better than that ;-)

  • RIP illa

    Hey Casey sighting

  • gruvi

    Nice hands Celek! Blet! :(

  • UKEagle99

    Far too many critical drops.

  • #7

    Celek

  • RIP illa

    Love our reliable TEs SMH

  • gruvi

    Garbage game coming.

  • Pennguino

    ugly Celek

  • Token

What is this offense now? They dont try to go fast anymore. Doesnt seem designed for quick plays. It just looks so much like last year. Its as if Shurmer has had a bunch more input.

  • #7

    Untouched

  • RIP illa

    REALLY!!!

  • UKEagle99

Keeps Manning off the field I guess.

  • Token

Id bring in a kicker midseason. Missing FGs beyond 40 is obviously bad. But nobody takes into account how awful it is to ALWAYS allow kickoff returns. He doesnt have the leg to take it out of the endzone. Look around the league, not many kickers are allowing returns. Its a killer.

Then you look at a team full of ST aces that cant play other positions, yet still suck at STs.

  • gruvi

Done wasting my Sundays or any days on this horrible personnel team! Eff you Eagles for again wasting fans time!

  • Pennguino

How is that not a hold?

    • RIP illa

Cuz he didn’t reach around the shoulder pads and had his hands w/in his pad area. Great block…piss poor ST!

  • RIP illa

This O-line in pass pro and run blocking has been very bad the last couple of weeks. And before someone rattles off McCoy’s stats, if it was any back not named Shady, he wouldn’t have those numbers!

  • #7

    Come to play 7

  • RIP illa

Coop is horrible outta of his breaks!!! Would be nice to have a legit #2. Cough…Gordon…cough!

    • #7

      Man that would be great

  • UKEagle99

    Cramps already lol

  • UKEagle99

    Please let it be nothing….

  • RIP illa

And that’s my biggest fear for this O and has been all offseason till now! Great job in not getting a capable WR, either next to DJax or a deep threat behind him, Howie!!!

  • #7

    Cmon #10…

  • UKEagle99

Riley as a #1 receiver makes me feel ill.

    • RIP illa

Coop as a #2 or 3 makes me ill!

      • UKEagle99

Good point. Coop as a #1 makes me more illerer.

        • RIP illa

          Or the illest!!! :-)

          • UKEagle99

The dodgy grammar was intentional ;-)

  • #7

    RUNNIN THAT FOOTBALL. Hell yeah

  • #7

    A penalty. Of course

    • UKEagle99

Drops and penalties continue to kill us.

      • #7

Man I am sick of Celek and these drops. Put Ertz in

        • RIP illa

          Lol…he drops them too

          • #7

At least he can run if he DOES catch it

  • JaketheSnake

    Celek
When you absolutely positively need a drop in a key spot

  • gruvi

Jackson on sideline with look of defear showing already.

  • #7

    Sconces about got burnt

    • UKEagle99

      Thats medieval sconces.

  • UKEagle99

    Mccoy looks rough.

  • RIP illa

Same stupid corner/slot blitz to Manning’s front side…smh Davis. I thought Davis was supposed to be good at disguising blitzes and mixing up pressure???

    • UKEagle99

Yeah I think its more disguising pressure and mixing up blitzing :-/

      • RIP illa

        Same Diff

  • #7

    A STOP!!!!

    • gruvi

More like Denver did it themselves, not so much credit should be given to birds D

      • #7

        i dont care

        • Token

lol yea really. Whatever it takes. Hoping for more slips.

          • UKEagle99

If I was Eagles kit man I’d be fitting longer cleats.

  • RIP illa

    Wasted T.O. By Denver

  • #7

    What a throw

  • RIP illa

    He was already down

  • #7

    yeah baby!!

  • #7

There we go!!! Use all our weapons!!!

  • UKEagle99

    Longer cleats Bryce!

  • UKEagle99

McCoy suffering he was sucking on O earlier and gulping Gatorade/Water

  • UKEagle99

    o/

  • RIP illa

Last week we still would have been down by 1 if we made the 2pt conversion. Stupid time to go for 2. Today we would have tied…stupid time to go for 1!!!

  • Will

Impressed we pulled with in 1 point….

    • UKEagle99

Ye , it was looking ominous.

    • RIP illa

Denver is nowhere near unbeatable…as they run all over our D! We could win this game if the D decides to show up. I know…big if!!!

  • RIP illa

Note to Davis…Manning will kill you all day in zone! Note to Howie…get some DBs w/ speed so you don’t have to worry as much about getting beat deep and so you don’t force your D-Coord to call zones all day!!!

  • #7

    What a throw by manning

  • RIP illa

    Good play by Barwin.

  • gruvi

2nd best offense? Last place defense?

  • RIP illa

Wow…smh! TD right here for Denver

  • UKEagle99

Just go when the ball moves, put ear plugs in vs P Manning.

  • #7

    d played hard. good thing

    • RIP illa

What??? D got ran over!!! Screw playing hard…get a stop or 2 in a quarter and then we could have a legit shot to win.

      • #7

just trying to be positive man. we’ve been worse than this

        • RIP illa

Yeah against the Chargers. Seriously we haven’t been worse than this. This is the same way we’ve been ran over and thrown on in the past…except now we’re in a 3-4. Appreciate the positivity tho!

          • #7

beg to differ man. we used to not tackle period or make the effort

  • Token

This scheme just stinks. It really does. Curry played yet? Think ive seen one pressure today.

    • RIP illa

That’s cuz Davis and Howie stink. Sopa does nothing to help in the middle and the 3-4 requires him to be our anchor.

      • Token

This team cant run 3-4. Its just not possible with who we have.

  • UKEagle99

    Whoa Coop

  • #7

    jesus

    • UKEagle99

      Every frikkin drive.

  • RIP illa

    Come on Ertz!!!

    • #7

      SMH

  • #7

Keep the ball Vick. Run for the first

  • RIP illa

Vick’s escapability and Shady’s shiftiness make this line look way better than what they are. Can’t trust Henery from outside of 40!!!

    • #7

Was just about to say that

  • Token

Moronic decision. Thats a spot you absolutely go for it to try and stay in this game.

  • #7

Should have went for it Chippah

  • #7

What I don’t like is Ryans doing all of this “leading” and I never hear his name called

    • RIP illa

He’s a lead by example/teacher kinda guy…not get on you when your messing up kinda guy. And his play is only “sound”. Not nowhere near outstanding. If we had a dominant player up in the trenches and a playmaker behind, you would hear bout him a lot more.

      • #7

Tired of al the efin talk man

        • RIP illa

Agreed I wanna see something on the field or see someone get in someone’s ass for not doing enough!

          • #7

Put Knott in. i don’t give a f. We need to hit somebody

          • RIP illa

Lol. I get you. But Knott can’t fight through blocks and is small. They would destroy him in the run game. That’s why I wanted him on the PS and to have the other guy that we cut in here.

          • #7

Sigh yeah I know. I’m just pissed man lol. Scaring my damn kid with all this screaming

  • RIP illa

And Dallas is solidifying their weak handed strangle hold on the NFC East.

    • UKEagle99

Romo will choke once the clocks go back.

      • RIP illa

Love when he does that. Although he didn’t do it last year. Last year he choked early.

  • RIP illa

Could of swore I just saw our D-lineman get tackled on that deep throw.

  • Token

Yea, please dont start Boykin on the outside, I havent seen Williams get beaten enough. And I just LOVE the Boykin failed blitzes. So tricky.

    • Johnny Domino

Think Cary is pretty well ensconced on the outside.

      • #7

        lol

  • #7

    Oh my God

  • RIP illa

    THORTON!!!!

  • #7

    Get your ass down Peyton!!

  • #7

COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE. We still in this!!

    • Johnny Domino

Keep your standards low enough and you’re never disappointed.

  • UKEagle99

They get the ball to start the 3rd, need more from the D

  • Token

D is pretty fortunate right now. Offense has to get things going too. Need TDs not FGs.

  • RIP illa

I know Token wont like this…but we have to employ the strategy that SD use against us…actually should have been doing it, to the furthest degree, from the start! Get the ball on O and sit on it. Eat as much time up off the clock as possible. The key would be to not have drives stall out, and w/ our shakey WRs (other than DJax) and TEs…that’s asking a lot. Going to be harder now that we’re down but we gotta do it cuz our D sucks D!!!

    • Token

Thats pretty much what they are doing. They arent going fast pace at all today. That only works if you score TDs, we arent right now.

Really after the first or second game they abandoned fast pace altogether. Sometimes they pick it up a bit, but that first half of football against the Skins hasnt been topped since then.

      • RIP illa

Sort of. They def slowed down the pace, but w/o having a reliable WR next to DJax, or reliable TEs we can’t dink and dunk, which we needed more of to kill more clock along w/ being able to score TDs. As u said we suck at that. All our plays are coming from big gains via Vick’s legs or big throws to DJax and our RBs, then we stall out. Not killing enough clock!!!

        • Token

Seemed like the flat has been open. Like to see them hit those more and let McCoy/Brown pick up easy chunks of yards.

          • RIP illa

All day. If we’re gonna go w/ a faster tempo, and I have a feeling we will, the. We can abuse their D and more specifically their LBs that way.

  • RIP illa

We had a long week and it looks like our Corners went over nothing in the film room!!! They’re not picking up on any routes being ran nor Manning’s adjustment. I’m not expecting them to have everything memorized and shut down…but Damn…they look completely F’N clueless and lost out there!!! Broken record, but why did we hire Davis???

    • Token

Williams is getting beaten badly out there again. No way he should be holding down a starting spot. But because of the awful contract, he will probably stay out there.

      • RIP illa

Yup, and that last throw, which Fletch was defending…he had no clue that the ball was even thrown. If you can’t read the QB at least try to read your man

  • Token

Onside kick to start the half. Whats there to lose?

    • RIP illa

      I’m down!!!

      • Eagles4Life

        Ditto.

    • Johnny Domino

Not enough pickle juice in the world for that.

  • Token

    Sit Cary down. My goodness

  • RIP illa

Wow Thorton and Logan pushed 8 yards downfield

  • RIP illa

    Piss Poor…Ryans and Boykin

  • Pennguino

    School is in session

  • RIP illa

    What!!!

  • RIP illa

It’ bad enough our D sucks, but for the refs to give Denver help!!! F’N BS!!!

  • Eagles4Life

    BULLSHIT PI CALL

  • RIP illa

That last shot was so depressingly funny…not only does Fletch have Nnamdi’s #, but he also had that same “I just got beat like a red headed step child” look! SMH!

  • UKEagle99

We are who we are. Inconsistent on offence whilst flashing potential and 11 men on the not offence or ST, I can’t call them a defence as they stop nothing.

  • RIP illa

    Another Drop

  • Jakethesnake

Why did our genius coach punt instead of going for it or trying a field goal at the end of the 1st half?
Ohhhhhh I understand apologists…..he doesn’t have his players yet……. How did I forget?

    • RIP illa

You’re right…BS call on his part and all his Oregon Pole Jockers need to STFU!!!

  • RIP illa

WTF…Kendricks had the coverage then dropped further back for no reason on that 1st play…Jesus this is so bad!!!

  • RIP illa

    Wolff…bad angle…weird!

  • #7

    Drops. mfin Drops

  • Rocky B.

starting to get away from us????

  • #7

No need to be Superman Vick just make the right plays.. Our defense…the efin safeties are completely lost

  • Will

Down 22 and counting the Blow out is under way….Hey Howie go buy some safety help…lol…

    • Eagles4Life

Amen. Said this 2 weeks ago. It’s disturbing lol.

  • Token

We all knew the D stunk. Players stink and Davis is one of the worst DCs in football.

What should concern everyone for the future, is the offense stinks too. Its never mattered what yards you put up. Gotta score points.

    • RIP illa

It’s all on the FO man. They refuse to go after and get players we need to score and defend and then they try and sell the fans a F’N bill of goods about how much they believe in the team they fielded, the players, the stupid ass coaches (Davis), while clearly better players, that everyone knows they are better, are remaining out there or on other teams that are up for trade or that we should have gotten through FA!!!

      • Token

FA isnt the key. If anything they have proven that. Free agents generally just want a payday. Most fall off after they get paid.

Howie and company just cant draft. Years of draft failures have led to this.

        • #7

          Go ahead Token. Nailed it

        • RIP illa

I always said that we need a balance between both FA and the Draft. There are corners and safeties and front 7 players on D having good years, at the moment, that we didn’t get or, in some cases, didn’t try to get…Why, cuz they don’t love football??? Please. Can they play and play well is all I want to know!

          • #7

We could have had Sean Smith…Byrd. If you can do it through the draft its a luxury…meaning you’re losing games alot. You have to have a mix of FA’s these days. I think 8-8 can win this division though. Cowboys aren’t that good man. We have to keep our heads up

          • RIP illa

After looking at the schedule I don’t think we have a shot to go 8-8. 6-10 perhaps, 7-9 at best.

          • #7

            We’ll see

  • RIP illa

So stupid!!! SO STUPID!!! What’s the point of having Graham lined up at Corner and the having him F’Ning blitz??? Dude…DAVIS HAS GOT TO GO!!! He sucks and has always SUCKED!!! I don’t wanna hear the BS about not having the right players and all the other Shite excuses!!! If that’s the case then you conform your D to the players you do have and you don’t make JACKASS calls like that!!! And send Howie out w/ him, for not getting him the “right players”!!!

    • Token

Yea obviously the players are bad. But this scheme and these calls are just really really awful. Its almost as if he puts players in the best possible position to fail.

      • RIP illa

Davis has literally been doing this since traing camp but everyone tries to make excuses for him…F that!!! I hope he gets fired and never coaches again!!!

    • #7

      Unbelievable

  • RIP illa

Lane has given up 4-5 sacks in 4 F’N weeks…GREAT #4 overall pick!!!

    • UKEagle99

Only consolation is Fisher and Joeckel have sucked too.

  • #7

    Rook gettin schooled out there

  • #7

Lane you’re making my Sooners look really bad right now

  • Rocky B.

at least we got the sixers

  • #7

The Great DeMeco Ryans gets beat again

  • gruvi

    Andy Reid is awesome!

  • #7

Man look how far we’re playing off the WRs even in second and short. You have to disrupt Manning’s timing. Billy Davis. WOW

  • Token

This team may have quit already. Chip had the chance for a massive roster change and didnt do it. Now he must lie in the bed he made.

    • #7

The season isn’t over yet. We have to take advantage of the schedule now. Tough place to win in Denver. They kicked our ass

      • RIP illa

The time to take advantage of the schedule was now…in the 1st quarter of the season!!! But we blew that by pissing away the SD game!!! That’s why it was so important. And this is alarming, cuz Token’s right…you’re watching a team give up and quit right now. And now I can’t even watch that cuz FOX has enforced the blowout rule!!!

        • #7

Missed FGs…D can’t get a stop. WHen we get a stop I’m ecstatic smh. One stop

          • RIP illa

            I hear ya!!!

      • Token

I get no joy from going 7-9.

Massive changes are needed to this team. Massive. Anyone that doesnt yet believe that is just kidding themselves.

        • #7

Why worry about that now? We just have to let it play out, who knows man

  • RIP illa

Love how people like Tommy Lawlor, Mike Kaye, Jimmy Kempski and others try and defend the organization w/ the baseless claim of that they care about D, ‘cuz they brought in a whole bunch of players, new scheme, and new coach’!!!! They brought in a horrible D-Coor and 3rd rate D players, and a BS scheme that we’re 2 years away from being any good at running!!! It’s like when people do busy woe at their jobs. You’re not really doing anything but just trying to make it look like you are. Complete BS on the Organizations part and on the fans who suck up that load and try to defend them!!!

  • Mr. Magee

I thought we looked pretty good today….

    • UKEagle99

I agree…. And then thew blew the whistle and ruined it.

    • #7

We would have been in the game. Every good drive there was a penalty

  • Will

Said this Eagle Defense would get exposed and give up 42 points, the Eagles Offense can only manage 13 points against the Denver’s 17th Defense in the NFL.

  • Mr. Magee

Just a play here or a bounce there, and we’re right in this thing….

    • RIP illa

      Dude shut up!!!

      • #7

        Cmon Illa lol

  • Johnny Domino

And there’s the cherry on top

  • #7

Ah man they swtched to the SD game on us lol

  • Pennguino

    There’s the Trifecta

  • gruvi

Whole team and coach should not even speak to media after this debacle. Most shameful performance of all NFL teams combined this season. Dreadful and not fixable. Tank the season, fire everyone and become the Browns.

    • Johnny Domino

      Today, I’d take the Browns

  • Will

That is sad the team has quit, same old basic fundamental BS mistakes we have been watching for the last 5 years. This football squad is worst then I thought.

  • UKEagle99

I want to play Washington again.

    • Will

      LMAO…LMAO…

  • Mr. Magee

At least the special teams have shown vast improvement under the Kelly regime….

  • Will

I would hate to be an Eagle PR guy who has to put a positive spin on this…LOL…

  • Token

This defense AND OFFENSE are not very good. I know nobody wants to talk about the O cuz Chip is supposed to be a god. But this thing is ugly. Id think his ego is too big to let his offense keep looking like trash.

1v1 coverage all day. Gotta throw the ball and let your WR have a chance to make plays. Teams know we wont throw it into tight coverage. No adjustments. Flat and quick stuff was open in the first half and they kept looking down field. Just not how I thought this offense was supposed to operate.

The defense better change personnel next week. Not that it will make a difference, but just for the sheer principle of getting these guys off the field.

-Boykin should get a chance to start. Our outside FA Corners can not play.

    – Ryans should be sat. Trying to decide whether to sit him or Kendricks is tough. They both have been bad. But Id sit the guy that clearly looks old out there.

    – The scheme itself is terrible. Seemingly having a goal to put players in bad spots. Switch to 4-3 or 4-3 Under. 3-4 is not working and can not work with these players. It would take years to rebuild this as a 3-4 D. And im not willing to throw away Cox.

    – No Curry today? Smart move………………………………………………………………

    • #7

      Right on man

    • RIP illa

One question…who is Vick supposed to throw to in tight spots when they can’t get separation? He has done that and what do we get??? Drops and unreliable TEs and WRs!!! DJax is the only one who has shown that he can catch the ball consistently in traffic and he’s freaking 5’9!!! Who’s he supposed to Throw to?

      • #7

I’m just glad that he didn’t try to be superman and FORCE plays. These guys weren’t open, and when they were, they were hit in the hands and dropped the shit. Celek…man that dude is killing me

        • Token

Celek shouldnt be starting period. Time to see if Ertz can be the man.

          • #7

            Absolutely

      • Token

We arent gonna always get separation. Rarely probably. Hes just gotta let it go. Give guys a chance to make a play. It cant be worse than whats going on right now.

        • RIP illa

Not fighting w/ you here. But yeah it can. Remember 2011. Vick has played one horrible game this year and that was last week so I’m not trying to defend him, by no means. But like #7 eluded to, when he starts trying to force stuff look for many more horrible games. TOs and more drops by our WRs. That’s why it’s so stupid that we decided not to replace Mac when he went down. If we had a Fitz or Boldin type player, then I’m all for him throwing w/o the WR getting separation…but we don’t. So we need more shorter quick hitting routes, screens, and throws to the flat.

          • #7

Preciate that RIP, if I would have posted this I would have been killed for it hence my “Superman”comment. As soon as Vick starts FORCING plays, it gets worse. We can’t trust Celek, Ertz, or Cooper to make plays in tight man coverage where they should WIN. Man to man in the NFL is a luxury and you have to take advantage of it, like the Broncos WRs did Avant is a chain mover, but can be easily eliminated.

Rook got schooled today and he’s been a turnstile. Every time we had a drive, a m’fin penalty. Passes right in the hands and they were dropped.

Not defending Vick at all and this is coming from me folks

          • RIP illa

So sad. It’s not even the loss but all the moves or non moves that lead up to it and they way we lost.

          • Token

Theres a difference between forcing and making a throw that gives your guy a chance. I realize thats not playing to Vicks strengths but im not sure what else they can do. You gotta beat 1v1 coverage. And they will continue to see it until they do.

          • RIP illa

Yeah I hear you but we still don’t have the guys that can come down w/ the ball.

          • http://abigbuttandasmile.com/ A Big Butt and a Smile

It’s not even really about playing to Vick’s strengths.

These guys haven’t shown they can make those plays. There have been balls tossed both Celek’s and Cooper’s way in tight coverage and they’ve come up empty. Hell Celek has had those type of passes bounce off his hands and into a defenders.

And this isn’t about defending Vick at all. It’s just we don’t have the wide receivers to make those plays.

Then its on Kelly I dont care. I just know its not working and they keep doing the same thing over and over. This thing has to be reigned in a bit. Shorten these routes. Quicken the pace back up. Dink and dunk. Put Johnson and Maehl in. Something, anything. I just want to see them try to improve by making some kind of adjustment.

I feel like this is very much like last year where every game is just trotting the same things out there and expecting something different.

Celek shouldnt play for one thing. Start some new guys on D. Just any changes. There is nothing to lose.

          • http://abigbuttandasmile.com/ A Big Butt and a Smile

I hear u. But honestly I don’t know that there are any worthwhile changes to be made. I’m not sure there is another way to go.

          • Dutch

The coverage on neither Celek nor Cooper does not have to be tight for them to drop balls at big times in a game. It’s like if there is a defender within 2 feet they get a bad twitch when the ball hits them in the hands…. NFL Receivers have got to make those catches……..to many times we have witness both drop ball that have good location and they have some space to make the catch…..

          • Dutch

It’s delusional to see Cooper and any other receiver on this roster outside Jackson as a legitimate NFL Quality receiver.

Lets be reasonable. Remember our starting receivers have been reduced by half because of injury. Before the Eagles got off the bus we all knew Celek in traffic was unreliable. Big drops in the red zone is a recurrence with Celek, but he’s still considered the best Tight End receiving threat on the roster.

None of the receivers suiting up would see much time on the field as anything other than a special teams contributor if Maclin was healthy. Not one of the receivers including Celek catches ball that hit them in the hands in traffic, last week Cooper dropped two balls with perfect placement that hit him in the hands. The problem was his defender was two feet behind him.

The Eagles are going to have to look other places on their roster because Celek, and Cooper aren’t capable of getting it done and have convinced the Eagles Fan base of that fact over and over during the last three years.

          • http://abigbuttandasmile.com/ A Big Butt and a Smile

I don’t think that was 2011 problem…but overall agree with what u said. We just don’t have the personnel for that.

As soon as he let’s it go, “oh ish Vick is washed up!! Get Foles in there!!!”

Not meant in a harsh way at all. Easiest player to blame is the QB..unfortunately.

I really hate the QB credit/blame thing. I really do. There are QBs that have flat out put the ball in players hands and they fail to make the play and the QB gets the blame…benched..made inactive.

  • Mr. Magee

I had the eagles +35… Can’t believe I’m gonna lose that bet

DeMeco “Preach and Teach” Ryan needs to sit

  • Mr. Magee

Well oiled machine, top to bottom….

What did they do over the last 11 days?

    • UKEagle99

Oil each others tops and bottoms?

    • Token

Nothing new offensively, or defensively after a 10 day layoff. Its bad coaching, bad execution.

I know its Chips first year. But he kept this roster. He wanted these guys to stay here. And its a disaster.

      • UKEagle99

To be fair to Chip its not like he can pick any 53 players he wants. Brady is under contract, as are a few others. Unfortunately for us, Nate Allen and the whole D are.

        • RIP illa

They had better options this offseason in the draft and FA…don’t believe the hype!!!

        • Token

You can change a roster in one year. Think both Carrol and Harbaugh did it. He kept these players. Kept the same guys who quit and didnt play hard last year. His ego told him he could coach them better.

Howie has to go this year. The excuses for him have to stop. Howie and Davis shouldnt have jobs next season. If they do, theres really no point in caring about this team until they are gone. No chance.

          • RIP illa

Howie does have to go, but Carrol too a few years to build his team and Harbaugh inherited a team that was picking w/ high draft picks for numerous years. Harbaugh didn’t change much.

          • UKEagle99

You can change the roster but that doesn’t necessarily make it better, just different. I present our secondary as evidence.

          • Token

O i hear you there. But throwing the same thing out there is insanity. Gotta get guys who at very least want to play hard for you.

          • RIP illa

And that’s why Howie sucks and needs to go. 3 years before this one as a GM and look at the results! Now include this year. That’s 4 years of F’N up, so how many more years is he supposed to get??? If it’s left up to Lurie and Howie defenders then he should get as many years as Chip…7-8 years of an incompetent GM…F’N great!

          • #7

            “That’s 4 years of F’N up” lmao

        • #7

          lol

  • #7

Man I tell you what, the flame is getting really hot under Chippah’s ass. Unfortunate, but he’s looking like this is over his head man. It was supposed to be in Chippah’s DNA as a coach to go for it and he didn’t and giving the ball back to Peyton Manning. What?

I drank the kool-aid, hell yeah I did, but Chip needs to pour some more sugar in that ish

    • RIP illa

      Well said.

    • Token

The offense shouldnt look this bad. They are not THAT lacking in talent. Chips should be able to score points.

The DC he brought in, the FAs and picks he and Howie made….. none of it is looking good for Chip.

And when he chose to take delay of game and punt instead of going for it, that was the game. Didnt even have a chance after that. Gotta go down shooting with this D.

      • #7

        SMH

  • Will

52-13 well Chip and Howie how that feel’in about now. We the true fans tried to tell you how pathetic the secondary and Defense really is. Now do you understand why you need a top notch Defense?

  • Pennguino

    FOLEZZZZZZZZ

  • Jason Hall

Fire Henery let him walk back to Philly with the whole secondary and throw Riley Cooper in too we need Safeties, another WR, CBs, and a kicker

    • UKEagle99

I’d give Maehl as shot, at safety if needs be.

      • Jason Hall

Oh and lets fire Davis too. Lovie Smith is available call him

  • Pennguino

    TD!!!!!!! Too late though

  • Token

Lol Davis beat even McDermott and Juan , most points allowed. Forget the date they just said, but its been awhile since they allowed this much.

    • Johnny Domino

Either Kuharich or Khayat vintage there

    • JofreyRice

      43 years, I think. That’s pretty awful.

  • Pennguino

Time for a change already only 4 games into the season

  • Kj

When your wrs are overmatched by dbs you have to include your tightends HEAVILY like new England has done past couple of years bc LBs and strong safeties can’t cover TEs. And they needed to run crossing rub routes for avant and cooper and keep Vick scrambling for 8 yds at a time. That would cause a spy for Vick, creating more rubs and crossing patterns for bigger Wrs. That’ll catch attention of free safety somewhat and at least give Jackson one opportunity to beat the free safety. Anyways chip should know now, just like Andy should have known, that his defense won’t dominate any offenses whatsoever. Therefore your offense has to execute and be more similar to KC offense… Simple, get positive run or playaction yardage on first down, rub, cross, tightend pass or spread pass for scramble on second down, and tightend or short pass on third. Then once defense starts cheating up, then do longer play actions, and Oregon style ball. This is what makes belicheck the best coach in league, his defense stays solid and his offense is forever evolving to score some points. I know it’s much harder than this in reality but simplicity can take people a long way, look at KC. Defense and ball control, they’ll mess around n be a wild card.
