Glad to see they are bringing in a couple of nose tackle candidates. They need to get that out of the way.

  • hillbillybirdsfan

He’s not on this list, but with the cap room the birds have this year I’d overpay for a short 2-year deal for Adrian Wilson just to hold down the fort and teach the young bucks how to play and conduct themselves

  • theycallmerob

    One-stop shop, thanks.
Also, the more I read/watch about Casey, the more I like him. Kelly’s vision is playing out.

  • Dilleria

    Where is Keenan Lewis?

    • Token

They signed Fletcher. I would like if they got Lewis also. Both shouldnt cost much but go a long way in rebuilding the secondary.

  • NinoMarley

Please sign Rey Maualuga!!!! I want another backer (that bowman kid in san fran land) *trade?

  • Token

They signed Bradley Fletcher and Patrick Chung also. Both guys get injured. But I see Fletcher gave up .52 yards per play in coverage. Lowest of any CB in the league according to Pro football focus. So a guy with skill that needs to stay healthy.

Unless the Eagles have already spoke with Brian Dawkins and are bringing him back, why aren’t they meeting with Golston? Are we going to draft another undersized safety this year in the 6th round?

    • D3Keith

They signed Chung from the Patriots. I bet the contract is 1/3 to 1/2 of what Golston ends up with.

  • D3Keith

This just got awesome. We’re up to five agreements now, all breaking in the past hour or so. Casey, Chung, Fletcher, Sopoaga, Phillips. I’d bet RJF is coming too.

Nice haul. Time to update the list, Sheil. Thankless job, eh?

OMG SOME GREAT NFL INSIGHTS HAPPENIING ON KC CHIEFS “COACH’s CORNER” .. love it its my newest insight for all the real nf in L sheet happenin

  • ICDogg

I like what the Eagles are doing. They shored up the Nose Tackle need with a veteran. They brought in a bunch of other guys with 2 and 3 year deals and relatively low $ commitment to compete for starting and backup roles. Some will likely work out, some won’t, none of them are a big risk. They’re not done shopping. It’s a good retooling strategy… bring in lots of guys and have a very competitive camp.

Any idea how the cap looks tonight?

  • IDB

The streak continues. The building blocks of mediocrity have been put in place. Zero rings

  • Kevin

Maybe a section for Last year Eagles?

  • http://twitter.com/ScottJ610 Scott J

Once again, the Eagles are ignoring and underestimating the Safety position. Chung is no better than what we already have.

  • Bebin Abraham

Where’s Keenan Lewis? He’s possibly the best corner not named Grimes imho

    • Token

My thought exactly. Ive heard nothing from him. I know Steelers fans arent happy about losing him.
