Antonio Brown Calls Boykin ‘The Candy Bar’

Well, the Steelers are talking a little trash.

Receiver Antonio Brown is apparently not all that impressed with rookie corner Brandon Boykin, and expects Pittsburgh to pick on him. Via the Observer-Reporter.

The Steelers (1-2) will be looking for a more advantageous matchup when they host the Eagles ( 3-1) Sunday, namely, whoever is matched up with Philadelphia’s third corner, rookie Brandon Boykin, a fourth-round pick out of Georgia.

“That’s the candy bar,” said Steelers Pro Bowl receiver Antonio Brown with a sly smile. Snickers or Milky Way?

“Snickers,” he replied.

Boykin has had his share of difficult matchups each of the last two weeks, going up against the likes of Victor Cruz and Larry Fitzgerald on a number of occasions as the nickel corner. He has three passes defensed and 10 tackles through four games.

“ He’s all right,” said Brown. “He’s given up a lot of plays. Whoever gets that guy definitely has to take advantage.”
