Herremans To Miss Friday’s Game At Browns

Todd Herremans will not be in attendance Friday when the Eagles take on the Browns in their third preseason game because of a death in the family.

Rookie Dennis Kelly will take his place at right tackle with the first team.

Kelly, a 6-8, 321-pounder out of Purdue, gets an unexpected chance to prove his worth.

“They told me this during walkthrough that I’ll be there. It’s a good opportunity,” said Kelly.

“It’s exciting. Back in camp when Todd got banged up a little bit, it gave me the opportunity to work with the ones. I think it gives me a little more confidence in that they trust me a little bit.”

Dunlap and Kelly securing the Ends, Foles starting. This should be a telling experience of exactly what kind of Quarterback Foles can become. If Foles throws for 60%, 75 yds, and moves the chains to 3 First Downs, I’ll be impressed.
