Best of Philly 2008: Yoga, City

Wake Up Yoga

For busy people, it doesn’t really matter if the yoga instructor is the most flexible in the city; what you really need is Philly’s most flexible studio. That’s Wake Up Yoga. With locations in Fairmount (2329 Parrish Street) and West Philly (4916 Baltimore Avenue) and almost four dozen classes a week, there’s something for every schedule and style, from strenuous vinyasa to chill-out restorative yoga. For the record: We’ve seen owner Corina Benner stand on her hands and arch her feet toward the crown of her head, chatting cheerfully the whole time.
