Adding more seats to an already busy restaurant can overtax a kitchen, but we applaud this year’s smart and smooth restaurant expansions — Osteria glassed in its outdoor patio, Tinto broke through a wall, and La Viola rented more space across the street — all designed to make diners more comfortable and reservations easier to score. Now, if only Talula’s Table, that 12-seater in Kennett Square, would get into the expansion act …
