Romance has been known to bloom over glasses of merlot at the Wine School of Philadelphia. (True story: Founder and instructor Keith Wallace met his girlfriend at one of his courses.) Student ages range from mid-20s to 50s (though Wallace says most would-be oenophiles are in their 30s), and reasonable prices bring in a decent range of people. And hey, even if you don’t find your soulmate, you’ll leave with a new understanding of wine … which will impress future dates.
