Best of Philly 2008: New Restaurant, 'Burbs

Maia Market and Restaurant

Maia is easily the Main Line’s most anticipated venue of the decade. (We have been expecting it to open since early ’07.) Buzz surrounding the restaurant’s ambitious organic-European-Nordic menu was exceeded only by the scope of its concept: It’s a cafe, a market, a bistro, a meeting venue and a fine-dining restaurant. When chefs (and brothers) Patrick and Terence Feury finally opened the doors this summer, the restaurant delivered, from the cafe’s lattes and pastries, to the beer and charcuterie at the informal bistro, to the all-out feast in the seafood-focused fine-dining restaurant.
