Best of Philly 2008: Highbrow Fun

Since 1986, local composer and Temple grad Andrea Clearfield has hosted monthly salons in her Center City loft, featuring an array of talent that can best be described as eclectic. Case in point: At the September 28th salon (she’s taking a break for the summer), your $10 suggested donation gets you a violinist who has performed at Carnegie Hall, an Eastern European female a cappella group, twin-brother folk musicians, a couple of jazz pianists … and that’s not even half the lineup.
