Sweet, giggly Meghan Reilly at Rittenhouse’s new AMS Salon loves doing balayage — a freehand, foil-less version of highlights that she spent years perfecting under the auspices of the experts at Salon A.K.S. in NYC. She uses different tones to literally paint color on in skinny little sections, creating a much more natural, textured, sun-kissed look than the dreaded stripes that come from the foil technique. And while we love her balayage, it’s her basic understanding of dyes and dedication to detail that make her a top choice for anything color, from going darker to correcting a botched job.
