Though Fiume excels at being a dive (no phone, $3 beer-and-shot special, ramshackle decor), it also has 50 bottled beers, an impressive top-shelf bourbon selection, un-surly and smart bartenders who actually use said bourbon to create very respectable manhattans, and a friendly, diverse crowd.
