There’s bacon-and-eggs-and-pancakes brunch, and then there’s brunch at Lacroix. Here, brunch means an expansive dining-room buffet of foie gras ganache, fennel ceviche, oysters mignonette, scallop sausage and pork belly fried rice. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, carving stations and chafing dishes fan out, offering roasted capon, lamb gyro, individual frittata, tomato and lobster bruschetta … There are more dishes than anyone could sample in one visit to this gastronomic playground — but don’t let that stop you from trying.
