We didn’t really need another incentive to visit Gilmore’s Restaurant, one of our favorite BYOBs, but Peter Gilmore has given us one: On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, he offers a four-course bistro dinner for $35 in addition to the à la carte menu, which typically costs $50 per person for three courses. Check the restaurant’s website for bistro menu updates — one recent lineup included Gilmore’s dandified shrimp corn dogs, a house salad, hazelnut-crusted salmon with champagne beurre blanc, and frozen Grand Marnier soufflé. The intimate townhouse surroundings will be no less lovely at a discount.
