Best of Philly 2007: Dive Bar
Jerry's Bar

Were not sure when it became acceptable for dive bars to have jukeboxes connected to the Internet that play virtually any song you could ever want to hear, $7 cocktails, cover charges, MySpace pages, and hoity-toity brews. But youll find none of that at Jerrys Bar, a weathered little smoking-and-drinking joint in a Northern Liberties alley. Were pretty sure weve never seen anyone drinking any beers other than Pabst and Bud (both $2); the jukebox, when its working properly, is packed with music thats usually too loud; and a shot of VO will run you just a buck.
