Chef Matt Spector and his wife, pastry chef Sonjia Bidegain Spector, are gifted interpreters of savory and sweet flavors, often combining both elements in a single dish. Spector's very best may be his ethereal gnocchi with fried capers, black olives and grape tomato confit, but you can also see his muse at play in a watermelon-feta salad dressed with eiswein, or the New York strip with blood orange/chipotle sauce. Every dessert is special, but we're especially smitten with Bidegain Spector's bittersweet-chocolate s'more.
