Best of Philly 2004 Movers

Mambo Movers.

A moving company comprised of starving artists might sound counterintuitive, but Mambo Movers' quirky, Thomas Paine-ish website (mambomovers.com) does a good job explaining why you're better off hiring three of their songwriting, graphic-designing "strapping lads" to move your stuff than a regular moving company. They come armed with blankets and straps to protect your furniture, they know how to navigate narrow side streets and gently hoist large pieces of furniture out of windows, and they take a philosophical tack: "Mutual respect and understanding is the best way to approach anything, including such a big thing as moving your entire earthly possessions from one place to another!"
