Now that Georges Perrier has opened the windows wide at Brasserie Perrier and brought in some fresh air, we can fully savor the chewy, meaty petite filet that chef Chris Scarduzio expertly turns out for the lounge menu at a super-decent $14. The prime-aged usda choice center-cut eight-ouncer, slathered with maître d'hôtel butter and served up with a tangle of pommes frites, is hard to beat at any price.
