Sometimes it feels like the average age of the diners here is 70-plus, but the Country Club Restaurant & Pastry Shops kitchen is still, after 46 years, young at heart. Newly hired executive chef Marco Carrozza (formerly of Marcos in Old City) is maintaining the Jewish-American comfort classics (blintzes, fluffy matzo-ball soup, roast chicken) while adding a few specials, such as pasta with shrimp in a pesto sauce.
