Trader Joe’s Recalls Granola Due to Listeria Concerns

Your go-to snack might be contaminated with listeria.

Uh-oh. Trader Joe’s just recalled their Grainless Granola. The gluten-free and vegan granola is pretty darn tasty, but unfortunately, some of the batches might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Nooooo.

The recall, announced by Trader Joe’s yesterday, is effective in several states, including Pennsylvania. If you’ve got this stuff in your pantry, check the expiration date ASAP. If the “Best By” date is between March 28th, 2018 and April 10th, 2018, they urge you to throw it away or return it for a refund. There have been no reported illnesses as of yet and Trader Joe’s has already taken the product off of their shelves. You can see an example of the “Best by” date to look for here.
