Let the Countdown to Sweetgreen’s New Center City Location Opening Begin!

The sixth outpost for Philly opens later this month.

Calling all Sweetgreen addicts! (No shame — I am totally with you, much to my bank account’s dismay.) The salad-slinging chain is opening its sixth Philly-area location this month, and they want to give you free food to celebrate. This isn’t a cruel joke, promise.

The new location, at 1601 Market Street, will officially be opening its doors on Tuesday, June 20th. But before then, they’ll be holding some community events which include — drumroll, please — free salads for attendees. You can find out more about those here. Just be sure to RSVP stat if you’re interested; space is limited.

Now, the real question: Will having another Center City Sweetgreen location translate to shorter lunchtime lines? Fingers crossed.
