Sanctuary Yoga & Mindfulness Is Giving You Free Yoga for Their Birthday

This birthday bash sounds like quite the good time.

This Earth Day, April 22nd, Midtown Village’s Sanctuary Yoga & Mindfulness is celebrating their very first birthday in a big (and free!) way, with glow-in-the-dark yoga, meditation, Sweetgreen and a whole lotta fun. And we repeat: It’s all free.

Perhaps you remember our interview with the studio’s owner, Kilkenny Tremblay, who gave us the lowdown on what her space is all about a year ago. As a refresher, the studio is all about taking holistic approach to yoga, incorporating Tremblay’s signature Floetry-style class structure which works in a short guided meditation.

So, to celebrate one year of being an urban wellness oasis, Sanctuary Yoga & Mindfulness is inviting anyone and everyone (seriously, you’re invited!) to their Earth Day birthday party from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The studio, located at 1233 Locust Street, will kick things off with a Essentials yoga class from 6 to 7 p.m., then mindfulness meditation from 7 to 7:30 and, at 8 p.m., an hour of blacklight “glowga” (that’s glow-in-the-dark yoga) with tunes from DJ Adam.Link will round out the yoga-filled evening. To refuel, they’ll have snacks from Sweetgreen and juices from Satya Juice.

There’s no need to sign up ahead of time; if you’re down for a sweaty yoga and snack-filled celebration that will leave you literally glowing, just swing by the Sanctuary Yoga & Mindfulness studio for whichever portion of the night you want to join in on, yoga mat in tow.
