Mark Your Calendar: Phillies Yoga Day to Return to Citizens Bank Park

Here, your chance to downward-dog in the outfield at Citizens Bank Park.

Downward-dogging Phillies fans, rejoice! Phillies Yoga Day, which went down for the first time at Citizens Bank Park last year (after being rescheduled due to bad weather), will be happening again this summer. Now, let’s just hope the weather gods play nice this time around.

Here are the details: Phillies Yoga Day, going down Saturday, July 8th, will kick off at 9 a.m. with an hourlong yoga session led by Maha Yoga for up to 2,000 people on the outfield grass. Then, your $50 registration also gets you a game ticket in the lower-level outfield for the Phillies game that afternoon. (They’re playing the San Diego Padres at 4:05 p.m.) You’ll just have to figure out a way to occupy yourself between yoga and the game; all participants will be asked to leave the ballpark after savasana.

You can learn more about the event and snag your ticket here. Oh! And FYI: Your ticket also gets you a branded Phillies yoga mat bag. (Way more useful than a yet another Phillies T-shirt, right?)
