This Event Combines Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Coffee AND Kombucha Cocktails

Need a kick in the pants to get back on your "new year, new me" game? Take note.

If your four favorites things on planet Earth are yoga, Pilates, meditation and coffee (we’re sure there are plenty of you nodding your heads out there), you can consider Inpower + Thrive, a shindig incorporating all four of these components, the day of your dreams.

Here’s the deal: The event, going down Saturday, February 25th, is being put on by Ali Tomlinson of IN-Power Performance Coaching and Hally Bayer of Rittenhouse’s Thrive Pilates, in partnership with Lululemon. And if you’ve lost some of your “new year, new me” mojo, it sounds like it’ll be just the kick in the pants you need to get back in gear. As the event page says, “We will hone our focus and make the shift so we can tap into our inner well of abundant enthusiasm, purpose and passion and ignite our more inspired lives. We will settle into our inpower and learn to thrive.” I’ll take it!

The event, which will run from 9:30 to 4 p.m. at Saxbys HQ at 2300 Chestnut Street, will kick off with coffee (naturally) and snacks, then head into an intention-setting session. Next up is a Pilates Fusion class, followed by lunch (also provided by Saxbys), followed by a yoga and meditation session. The whole shebang ends with a “Get happier hour,” complete with kombucha cocktails. Sounds lovely, right?

The day will run you $55 ($35 for students) and — here’s the best part — all of the proceeds will go to Minding Your Mind, a Philly-based nonprofit that works to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
