For the weekend, at least.

The Local Fishtown, Lululemon’s new local concept store, opened on Frankford Avenue last weekend — and tonight, they’re bringing yet another Lululemon concept to Philly for the weekend: Lululemon Lab.

The company has two locations for Lululemon Lab, Vancouver and New York City, and this weekend, the NYC Lab team will be coming to Philly for the first time to show off pieces — which you, my friends, can shop! — from their Winter ’16 collection during a weekend-long trunk show at Lululemon’s The Local Fishtown.

If you’re unfamiliar with Lululemon Lab, the pieces are designed less to simply get you through the sweatiest of sweaty SoulCycle classes and more to get you through the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As Marcus Le Blanc, Lululemon Lab’s head designer, told Well + Good back in February before the NYC Lab opened, “Whereas the main collection at Lululemon is uber-functional and made for sweat, what we’re up to is a bit of a hybrid between function, sweat, performance, and ready-to-wear [clothing] that can take you through your whole day.”

The NYC Lab Winter ’16 collection will debut at The Fishtown Local this evening, then you’ll be able to shop it at the Fishtown store during certain times throughout the weekend (see the full NYC Lab trunk show schedule here). Here’s to buying yourself a Christmas gift! Hey, you totally deserve it.
