Our Midweek Gift to You: A Running Playlist You Don’t Have to Make Yourself

We call this the Badass Women Edition.

It’s been a good few months since we last posted one of our Be Well Philly playlists on the blog (Though, do note, we do still update our playlist each month! You can follow our updated workout playlist on Spotify here.), so I figured it was time we give you lovely a humans a ready-made playlist for your next run. Because Wednesdays are hard enough without having to make a running playlist of your own just so you can work out.

The theme of this workout playlist? Badass women.

In the past few weeks, there’s been lots of talk about women — both in the news (ahem, Trump), and in the music world. I doubt I need to re-hash the Trump news with you, but when it comes to the music world, first off, Solange released her album which shot to number one on the Billboard 200 chart, making Solange and Beyoncé the first sisters ever to have number one albums. Can they get a round of applause? And, in other news, JoJo, (remember JoJo?!) has officially made a comeback after having been screwed over by her label for, oh, the past decade.

So it only seemed fitting we create a running playlist highlighting some of the badass female artists out there. Below, you’ll find 20 songs — one hour and 10 minutes to be exact — of music by women who are killing it in the music industry. Happy running!
