The Best Fitness and Foodie Events in Philly This Month: August 2016

Go ahead and fill your calendars up, folks!

August is the cheesy romantic novel of months: It’s only really good at the beach. Otherwise, it’s a muggy and sweaty and generally uncomfortable month. And speaking for myself, usually, on any given August day, sweating more is the last thing I want to do. So making a point to fill up my fitness calendar is a must — otherwise I will spend the entire month splayed out on my couch with a pint of Little Baby’s Vegan Iced Tea ice cream resting on my belly.

If you, too, need to fill your fitness life with plans in order to avoid turning into a sloth-like human this month, take note of these 10 awesome fitness and healthy-foodie events happening around town. Happy sweating!
