How to Stick to Your Workout Plans Every Day This Month

Yes, even on the muggiest of mornings.

Another month of miserable weather, another workout streak challenge to make sure you don’t sit on the couch for 31 days straight. As some of you probably remember, back in February — a month usually devoted to soup and Netflix binges, because WHO wants to brave five-degree temperatures? — Run215 challenged runners to get in at least a mile of running every damn day of the month. Well, now, during another usually miserable month of workout weather, City Fit Girls is challenging folks to do one of two things: Run a mile or get in 30 minutes of exercise each day. So say adios to your plans of sitting in front of a fan all month long.

To join in, you just have to get your workout on and document it via sweaty selfie — or some sort of photo related to your workout — posted to Instagram, Twitter or to the pinned post in the City Fit Girls Run Club Facebook group. When posting to social media, just make sure to hashtag it with #cfgstreak. And note: Even though the idea is not to submit to the call of your air-conditioned living room when you said you were going to work out, if you do fall off the workout wagon, you’re welcome to hop back in on the challenge.

And yes, City Fit Girls is behind this challenge, so it’s for the ladies. But dudes, take note. We don’t see anything wrong with starting a streak of your own. City Fit Dudes Streak, maybe? (I’m super creative, I know.) You can find more info on the challenge here. Happy sweating — like, a LOT.
