If you’ve already participated in fun runs like the Color Run and the Insane Inflatable 5k and are on the hunt for another crazy day of running, then you’ve come to the right place, my friends. The first annual Glow in the Dark 5K Walk/Run, put on by Race Roll Dye, is coming to town  — to Pennsauken, New Jersey to be exact — and, well, it sounds pretty fun.

The 5K, being held on Saturday, August 20th, comes complete with balance beams, vertical walls, tire runs, and inflatable obstacles, and participants will also be blasted with bright, colorful powder at several color stations. And where does the glow-in-the-dark portion come in, you ask? Well, the event will be held from 6 to 10 p.m., and runners and walkers will be given tons of glow-in-the-dark goodies — finger lights, necklaces, headbands, and more — so they can light up the night while conquering the course. Sounds pretty cool, right?

Registration is $35 until August 1st, then tickets go up to $45. All ages are welcome to participate in the 5K and kids under 12 are free.  You can find out more and sign up here.
