Yoga With a View: Where to Do Rooftop Yoga in Philly This Summer

Here, where to get your downward dog on a bit closer to the clouds.

So two weeks ago, we gave you this epic guide to outdoor yoga in Philly, you are welcome. And this week, we decided to put a cherry on that namaste sundae and round up a few places that offer the king of outdoor yoga: rooftop yoga. So here you go, four places where you can go get your warrior on a bit closer to the clouds.

Rooftop Yoga at the ICON Building
Where: 1616 Walnut Street, Center City.
When: Saturdays at 8 a.m. through September.

This free (!!), Vinyasa class, is put on each week by CorePower Yoga. Yogis are asked to meet at CorePower at 7:45 a.m., then you’ll head up to the rooftop as a group. (Note: The class is listed on CorePower’s schedule on Saturday mornings as “CorePower Yoga 2: FREE.”)

Rooftop Yoga at Whole Foods Plymouth Meeting
Where: 500 West Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting Mall.
When: Saturdays at 9 a.m. through September 3rd.

This class, taught by Yoga Home co-owner Maura Manzo, is held weekly on the rooftop of Whole Foods. $5 (cash at the door).

Rooftop Yoga at Whole Foods South Street
Where: 929 South Street, Bella Vista.
When: Thursdays at 11 a.m.

These weekly rooftop yoga classes, led by Palo Santo Wellness Boutique’s Daniel Cordua, benefit the Leukemia Society. $5

Yoga at Assembly Rooftop Lounge
Where: 1 Logan Square, Logan Square.
When: July 2nd, August 6th, September 3rd at 10 a.m.

This 50-minute monthly class comes to you from CoreFitness and the Logan Hotel. After downward-dogging, participants will be offered freshly squeezed orange juice and spa discounts. $25.
