Here’s to hoping you fitness overachievers out there haven’t already filled your fitness calendar for the weekend: Freehouse Fitness Studio, a new studio offering a mix of resistance band, rebounder and reformer classes, is opening its doors at 1430 South Street this Thursday, June 16th — and they’ve got TONS of free classes going all weekend long.

The studio, helmed by Dana Auriemma (you’ve probably spotted her doing pop-up fitness classes at Athleta and on the Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk over the past few months), will open with an open house happy hour on Thursday evening from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Then, on Friday, the real fun starts: From Friday through Sunday, the studio has upward of 20 free classes going, and you are welcome to take up to three. Hellooo, free weekend of workouts! You can check out the full schedule and sign up for those classes here. Note: Right now, sign up is only available for Friday classes, which Auriemma told us have been filling up fast; registration for Saturday classes will open tomorrow and registration for Sunday classes will open Wednesday.

Once the weekend of free workouts is over, Freehouse’s normal schedule of classes will get going, with between three and six classes each day, with prices ranging from $18 to $26 per class. So go ahead and get your fitness taste-test in now so you know what you’re into later on, folks!
