I want you to do something for me. Close your eyes, ignore the gloom and rain outside, and picture yourself having a freaking blast at Be Well Philly Boot Camp tomorrow. Now, aren’t you psyched?

We’re pretty much bursting with anticipation over here, as we gear up for our 5th (!!!) annual Be Well Philly Boot Camp, Philly’s biggest, baddest fitness event for women of all ages and fitness levels. We’re amped to be back at the Drexel Recreation Center this year with a whole new lineup of fitness classes, speakers, chefs and marketplace vendors, all of whom we’re preeeeeetty sure will knock your socks off.

If you haven’t been to Boot Camp before, I wanted to post a quick message here about what you should expect — some day-of logistics, plus what to bring, what not to bring, that sort of thing. And if you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, we have just a few left. You can head over here to snag yours now before they’re all snatched up. See you in T-minus 24 hours, ladies!

Where and when is Be Well Philly Boot Camp?
Our event is hosted at the Drexel Recreation Center at 3301 Market Street in University City. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a (free!) Healthy Happy Hour to follow.

Okay, okay, but what time should I actually get there?
Doors open at 9 a.m. for registration and breakfast. Snap Kitchen will be serving breakfast this year, so get there early to beat the line. Fitness classes and other programming more will kick off promptly at 10.

How should I get there?
The Recreation Center is conveniently located across from the SEPTA Trolley (Green) Line at 33rd and Market Streets and the Market-Frankford (Blue) Line at 34th and Market Streets. If you choose to drive, that’s cool, too: The Drexel Parking Garage is located at 34th Street and Ludlow Street and costs $8 for the day.

What should I wear?
This is my favorite question of all, because the dress code for Be Well Philly Boot Camp is the best dress code in the entire world: Workout clothes and sneakers! We’ll also be selling our Be Well Philly Boot Camp tanks on site, so you’re welcome to rock those, too. (You can bet I will be.) We’ll also be handing out free towels for the taking (Note: You will get sweaty in our fitness classes!), but be sure to bring your own yoga mat if you plan to participate in yoga and Pilates classes.

Where can I find info on all the classes and sessions?
Everything is right here. But if you’re planning on attending, I highly recommend you download our snazzy new Be Well Philly Boot Camp app. It includes the entire schedule, of course, but it will also have up-to-the-minute event info, such as changes in locations or schedule due to the weather. (More on the weather in a minute…) Here’s where you can download the app for iPhone and Android.

Do I need to sign up for fitness classes in advance?
Not this year! Indoor and outdoor fitness classes will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The exceptions are our two Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga sessions with Aqua Vida in the Drexel Pool. Because those are limited space, you’ll need to sign up for SUP yoga in the registration area when you arrive. (Yup, that’s another reason to get there early.)

I’m probably going to get hungry with all that working out. I should probably pack a lunch, right?
Breakfast, lunch and our Healthy Happy Hour are included in the ticket price. You may leave sweaty, but you won’t leave hungry.

Aw, man! It might rain tomorrow. Will you cancel the event?
No way! Be Well Philly Boot Camp is rain or shine, baby. And right now my weather app is telling me tomorrow’s forecast should be “warmer with a shower in spots.” Since when did a spotty shower bring you down? (Remember rain-soaked Broad Street this year?!) We’re on no matter what.

Wait! I have another question.
That’s cool. Shoot us an email at events@phillymag.com and we’ll get right back to you.

See you tomorrow, ladies!
