Yoga on the Banks Is Bringing Us an Awesome New Yoga Series This Summer

The folks from Yoga on the Banks have a new series for us: Yoga at the Market.

What would make your weekly farmers’ market trips even better than they already are? Oh! I know: A donation-based yoga class at the farmers’ market. And the folks behind Yoga on the Banks are bringing us all just that with their new Yoga at the Market series, where they’ll hold donation-based yoga classes at three farmers’ markets around Philly from June through September. Awesome, right?

The classes, held either during or right before the farmers’ markets open, will kick off in June and will run through September, with three pay-what-you-wish classes going down each week. Check out the schedule below.

Yoga at the Schuylkill River Park Farmers’ Market
Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m.

Yoga at Clark Park Farmers’ Market
Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m.

Yoga at Dickinson Square Park Farmers’ Market
Sundays from 9 to 10 a.m.

According to Yoga on the Banks’ website, the BYO-mat, all-levels farmers’ market classes are being put on in collaboration with the Food Trust, Farm to City, and the parks’ Friends groups. And if you can’t make it to any of those, don’t forget about their thrice-weekly Yoga on the Banks classes at the Schuylkill Banks. Yay for outdoor yoga season! (Psst: For everyone staying in town for Memorial Day, note that Yoga on the Banks will have their full schedule going through the weekend.)
